ARDC Bajo Hosts Fourth Quarter Research Management Committee (RMC) Meeting

ARDC Bajo successfully convened its fourth quarter Research Management Committee (RMC) meeting for the FY 2024-25, during which eight research papers showcasing agricultural research studies were presented. The papers covered a diverse range of crop evaluations and trials:

  1. Evaluation of Black Rice
  2. Characterization of Local Premium Rice Varieties
  3. Evaluation of Irwin Mango under Protected Cultivation (NCT)
  4. Pomelo Varietal Evaluation
  5. Evaluation of Sweet Potatoes
  6. Assessment of Wood Vinegar as a Herbicide on Tomato
  7. Assessment of Wood Vinegar as a Fungicide on Tomato
  8. Evaluation of Chinese Cabbage Varieties at ARDC Bajo and ARDC Tsirang

Following detailed deliberations, two research papers—Evaluation of Black Rice and Evaluation of Sweet Potatoes—were shortlisted for submission to the Variety Release Committee for consideration for official variety release. The papers will be revised based on the feedback received during the meeting and compiled as technical documents for dissemination in the fiscal year 2024–25.
