Six delegates from The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) led by Dr. Shenggen Fan, Director General  visited ARDC Bajo on 28-04-2019. The team was accompanied by Dr. Tayan Raji Gurung, Specialist, NSSC with Mr. Sonam Gyamtsho, PPD. The objective of the visit of the mission team to Bhutan  is for  launching of the 2019- Global Food Policy Report and to establish formal link with MoAF, Bhutan. The visit was made to the Centre to find out some of the relevant  the field and research issues so that they  will in-cooperate in the joint technical meeting with MoAF.

The delegates was well received by ARDC staff. A short presentation on Agriculture scenario  of  Bhutan and about the Centre was made by Mr. Mahesh Ghimiray, Specialist, followed by on-station field visit.
