JICA Alumni Association of Bhutan(JAAB)in collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA) organised a blood donation programme today at Agriculture Research and Development Centre (ARDC)-Bajo, Wangdue. About 200 personnel comprising JICA officials from head office and IHPP/ARDC Bajo, JAAB members, De-suung from Wangdue Dzongkhag and staff of ARDC Bajo participated in the programme. About 130 personnel successfully donated blood for saving lives. Official from Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital(JDWNRH)assisted the programme. Organizer and participant expressed satisfaction on the programme. The health officials were also delighted that many donors were in blood groups low in the blood bank of JDWNRH.
