ARDC Bajo has successfully kickstarted field-level activities under the World Bank–funded RNR Jobs Project, “Accelerate Bhutan’s Job Transformation through Renewable Natural Resource Value Chains,” with a targeted intervention on the citrus commodity. The initiative commenced with canopy management operations benefiting 23 households and covering 540 citrus trees in Tsendagang Gewog, Dagana Dzongkhag. The intervention is aimed at enhancing orchard health, increasing productivity, and strengthening the citrus value chain. Similar activities will be progressively rolled out in other major citrus-growing areas of Dagana and Tsirang Dzongkhags as part of the project’s broader implementation plan.
