Professor Kazuhiro Matsumoto and his team from JICA visited the Centre on 15 September 2026.
The visit provided an opportunity for researchers and technical staff of ARDC Bajo to interact with the visiting team and exchange knowledge and experiences on various aspects of fruit cultivation and management. Discussions covered relevant technical practices, orchard management approaches, and practical considerations for improving fruit production and productivity.
The interaction also provided a useful platform to share experiences from Bhutan’s fruit production systems and to explore technical approaches relevant to the country’s diverse agro-ecological conditions.
ARDC Bajo looks forward to continued knowledge exchange and collaboration with researchers and institutions working to strengthen sustainable fruit production and horticultural development in Bhutan.
