The Agriculture Research and Development Centre (ARDC) Bajo participated in the Dagap Farm Festival conducted at Dagapela Middle Secondary School on 14–15 December 2025. The festival was organized to promote authentic local agricultural products, support farming communities, and enhance market linkages.
ARDC Bajo showcased improved horticultural and cereal crops along with climate-smart agricultural technologies. Key exhibits included mandarin fruits and planting materials, important rice varieties such as black rice, premium rice, and Bajo Kaap, selected wheat varieties, quinoa-based products, and climate-resilient farming technologies.
The event served as an effective platform for technology dissemination, farmer interaction, and awareness creation on sustainable agricultural practices, reinforcing ARDC Bajo’s mandate of supporting research-led agricultural development and commercialization in Bhutan.
