ARDC Bajo conducted on-station sowing trials using a no-till seed drill machine for wheat production. The trial focused on assessing the operational efficiency, seed placement accuracy, and suitability of the no-till sowing system under local agro-climatic conditions.
Successful implementation of this technology is expected to reduce labour dependency, minimize field preparation requirements, and improve sowing efficiency. The no-till seed drill has strong potential for adoption in farmers’ fields, particularly in regions facing acute labour shortages, thereby contributing to timely sowing and sustainable crop production.
