The ARDC Bajo participated in the 7th Round of the Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) Volunteer Programme held from 28–30 August 2026. A team of 20 staff and ESPs from ARDC Bajo joined the programme.
The team was actively engaged in the beautification and landscaping activities along the highway from Gelephu Airport to Gelephu town. The beautification works were carried out over approximately two and a half days and were successfully completed as planned.
As part of the programme, the participants also had the honour of receiving an audience with His Majesty the King, Her Majesty the Queen, and the Royal Family. Following the completion of the beautification activities, the volunteers gathered at the school football ground for lunch (Tokha) hosted by His Majesty the King.
The participation of ARDC Bajo in the GMC Volunteer Programme reflects the Centre’s continued commitment to supporting national initiatives and contributing to the development and beautification of Gelephu.
